What a week it has been. Above average temperatures & a short week for the students!
The Remembrance Day ceremony last week was so touching.Language: We have been reading about Genies this week. Ask your child if they meet the Genie criteria! Next Monday and Tuesday we will be presenting our newspaper articles to the class. I will be assessing their ORAL presentation, rather than the written part. So PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
Math: We will be finishing up our Patterning Unit this week and moving on to Geometry. There will not be an official test for this unit. Ask your child to explain what a pattern rule is.
Science: We will be having our Matter TEST on Wednesday next week. Students will be encouraged to bring home their Science duotangs to study from. Our next unit will be Forces Acting on Structures where we will be doing a lot of hands on/building activities.
